PGM Precision into Airsoft
PGM Precision, everybody have probably already heard of it
It's a French company, well known for their Precision Rifles, that are used by the French Army since a long time
Their platforms are :
PGM Ultima Ratio 1st and 2nd gen
PGM 338
PGM Mini Hécate
PGM Mini Hécate 2
PGM Hécate 2
and some more...
One PGM replica is existing in airsoft world, manufactured by Ares/S&T/Cybergun.
it's the PGM 338 :
But let's talk about what's not existing, and what i'm designing.
The Mini Hécate 2, introduced in 2018, is a Multi-Caliber High Precision Rifle.
Chambered in 338 (LM/NM), 375 Swiss and 300 (PRC, WM) calibers.
Available in 5 barrel lengths.
In 2024, i start it, for the challenge.
I'm using the TAC41 as the base.
I'm also using the TAC41P feeding ramp, and oem mags.
Wich means i need to integrate the ramp (SBA-STK-032)
Initially made with a completely printed hinge and stock interface.
I decide to switch to a metal hinge/folding interface, wich is the Novritsch/MLC 1913 Hinge.
Now that the stock is ready for 1913 stock interface, I'm releasing it alone so it can be mounted to any sniper with 1913 stock (MLC, Novritsch, TAC41L, etc)

In 2026, PGM upgrade the Mini Hécate 2 to ARCA standards
I'm calling it the Mini Hécate 2 2026, to separate each versions.
The whole receiver is revamped, to be up to modern requirement standards.
The folding stock remains the same.
While on the MH2 2018, i decided to use oem TAC41P ramp and mags,
On the MH2 2026 i decide to use custom ramp, and custom accurate mags this time.
The mag used on the MH2 is a 5 rounds single stack.
A 338LM round is 15mm wide, and the mag is very slim (less than 0,8")
Slimmer than all the custom mags i previously done for sure.
I'm using the spring you can find inside shotgun shell, wich is very cheap and easy to source, to have a double stack 30/40ish rds midcap mag.

Replicating such platforms and adapting them into Airsoft is a task that require dedication and passion.
Thoses "wired" renders are specially made so you can see the complex geometry, and hope it will help you understand the amount of work needed for such accurate designs/works...
And of course since it's made for 3Dprinting, it's optimized for this usage, but can also be made in CNC, for a way bigger cost.
And for those who thinks they have the right to criticize something they are completely uncapable of doing, i am still waiting for you to do such things in the same timeframe as i do them ;)
